Steve Jobs .. The name portrays an Enigma, a persona filled with magnetism ... Public Memory is not short , and probably , the world has many equally brilliant individuals , if not more... Yes, there was Einstein , who is still revered, we have Bill Gates who still is idolized by a starry eyed teenager in the small-towns of India ; There are/were also Michael Dell, Larry Page , Dhirubhai Ambani ..
But Steve was different. Real Life never repeats itself. But , if we want to draw any parallel with Steve Jobs, probably the only character that comes into mind from fiction is Howard Roark......

If Passion can be defined and quantized in words , it can be done in two --- Howard Roark ...Unsuave , Un Political , Genius who knows exactly he wants from the One Life GOD has give us....Ayn Rand's supreme brilliance brought out that the hard fact that all seemingly successful politically right people like the Peter Keatings are replaceable like commodities. But , true genius is like diamond , when sometime or later humanity stands up and applauds the greatest among its stable....
So was Steve Jobs.... He was a guy who wanted to take on IBM -- International Business Machines , the company with which technology started and ended. He wanted to challenge its supremacy with something as silly a gadget as a Mouse. What he did and what was Macintosh is history.... But history is facts.. We are not interested in History.. We like the person called Steve Jobs.... He was thrown out of the company he had founded, still not only came back to be at its helm , but propelled it to one of the most successful organizations in History....
Long Live Steve Jobs , Long Live Apple, Long Live the American Dream to Innovate... Hats Off !!!
And an appeal to the execs of Apple -- We consumers really don't know what we want .. Be it GUI based OS, iPod, iPhone , iPad or the iCloud. Please keep giving us those amazing products .... And keep making our lives happier !!
