Often we get emails from various sources which claim to give us INR 30,000 pm jobs just by spending 1-2 hours per day surfing the net. Obviously , we don't give any attention to those emails because, simple idea of the world tells us that if it gotta be true , no one would be studying hard for IIMs /IAS /IITs or toiling hard to get their start-ups up and running. Instead , they would get the cheapest broadband and start clicking Ads.
However, last week a few of my friends were saying that they have experienced real money from the so called 'Online Jobs' . Hence , I had to test the Hypothesis : 'All Online Jobs are scams ' myself.
I came back home and opened an email which promised exactly the same as stated above. But , when i clicked on the link in the email and went to the website , I was amused that , to earn the money i had to pay initially a sum of Rs 499 to register. Now, why should I pay to get a Job. Clearly a scam , to attract and take the initial amount from me, a gullible wannabe :P
A small wikipedia search revealed the behind-the-scenes . Only 1 in 47 online job offers are genuine and the most obvious sign to know whether it's a scam or not , is to see when the employer asks for an enrollment fee and is willing to enroll any one without checking the credentials of the employee...
